Paul Harris Visits Clearwater in 1937

These photographs are the only known pictures of Rotary International Founder Paul Harris' visit to Clearwater in 1937.  The image on the right is from a single composite negative provided by Dave Perkins, and digitized by Steve Carlisle.  The boat belonged to Rotarian Fred James and the photos were taken at the old Clearwater Yacht Club which was located on Mandalay Avenue across the street from the present fire station (where the new pool is now).
